Lennie
Gallant performs with Jimmy Buffett in Toronto
Lennie
Gallant made a special guest appearance with Jimmy Buffett
at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on
Monday night. Buffett asked Gallant to perform "Mademoiselle
Voulez-Vous Danser" with him. Buffett was introduced
to Lennie Gallant's music during a previous Canadian tour and
was immediately taken with Gallant's songs. He picked up Gallant's
album Open Window
and it became a favorite of his, so much so he recorded Gallant's
song "Mademoiselle Voulez-Vous Danser" on his
Far Side of The World album. "There
is magic in there...Voulez-Vous Danser is one of those songs,
it's one of my favourite tracks on the album" Jimmy
Buffett
The
concert was SOLD OUT (16, 000 capacity) and was Buffett's only
Canadian
date on the Tour. The show was broadcast LIVE via
the internet
